Numerous meanings, uses, roles, and connotations have been attached to the deceptively humble coffee bean---from ritual use in ceremonies, to empire building, to contemporary consumption in the office or in hip cafes. So, to reinforce that message, it could be more powerful to depict the iconic image of a gift of nature rather than a product in its final form.
